Oh the myriad of baby carriers on the market nowadays! Pick your favorite style, size, color – there are front-carriers, backpack-carriers, hip-carriers, slings, pretty much whatever you can think of. It’s hard to narrow them down, isn’t it? The best and most sure way to find a carrier that will be right for you is to try different types yourself, but not everyone is close enough to a store that allows that. The rest of us have to rely on other mom reviews. I’m going to do my best here to give you an honest and thorough review. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments!

Okay, first of all – a comparison. My first baby carrier was one I bought from Walmart (I won’t name any brands). It was cheap and did the job fine while Emma was a newborn. But as time went on and Emma grew heavier, the pressure on my shoulders was way too intense. It was painful enough that I stopped carrying her (in a carrier) for a few months and avoided going places. Besides this, the complication of getting the carrier on was ridiculous! I never did figure out where everything was supposed to go and how to adjust it to a good fit. The moral of this story? If you buy cheap, expect cheap quality.

Enter the Belle Baby Carrier! Upon receiving my carrier, I was surprised to find that it is incredibly light and compact, not bulky in the least. This is a carrier I can take with me anywhere – in my diaper bag! Also, it’s gorgeous! I absolutely love the moss green color of mine, and the fact that it is organic is a huge plus (notice my daughter chewing on it, lol). Another thing I noticed right away was that it is SO simple to put on by myself! And it’s easy to adjust myself, at both sides of my waist. Oh my, this carrier was made for me – it’s heaven! I mean, come on – seriously? What mother wants to spend 20 minutes trying to adjust her carrier? And we don’t always have someone there to help us adjust it. I don’t know about you, but I like being able to do it all myself.

Now I know I’m doing a lot of gushing about this carrier, but I really do love it. Honestly. It’s extremely comfortable and stylish to boot!

Now this is the part I couldn’t wait to tell you. Celebrities LOVE Belle baby carriers! Check out the celebrities below:

Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, and Angelina Jolie
All with Belle Baby Carriers! Black seems to be the favorite. ;-) Go Jessica for being different!

I don’t know about you, but that tells me something. I usually can’t afford the things the celebrities buy for their babies, but this I can handle!

Belle also has a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from, including a selection of organic carriers:

Pros:
♥ Babies 5-30 pounds can be carried. (I love this!)

♥ Comes in organic!
♥ Baby can face forward or toward you.
♥ Allows for discrete nursing. (Though I doubt I would try it, lol)

♥ EASILY adjustable!

♥ Easy to put baby in yourself if need be.
♥ Comfortable – most of the baby’s weight is held at your waist, I found.
♥ Carry the baby where you’re comfortable – tightness of waist belt affects height of baby in the carrier.
Very affordable at $89 – $99!

Cons:
♥ Not able to be used as a backpack carrier.

♥ Some people might not like the cross-over shoulder straps. I do, though.

Overall, I found this carrier to be a KEEPER and would recommend it without hesitation.
