I love neckwarmers.  Neckwarmers are stylish, cozy, and hassle-free!

Mom-owned Etsy shop, The Windfall Tree, is one place you can look for crocheted neckwarmers, fingerless gloves, scarves, and much more!

The mom behind these creations is Kristy Gordanier, mom of 3 who works full-time in the medical field but still manages to keep sewing and crocheting (and selling!) her creations, make delicious meals from scratch, and find time to play with her kids.  She is a supermom!

I have the green neckwarmer in the photo at the top of this post and I love it!  It’s so cute with it’s chunky yarn and big button closure.  The yarn is soft and it’s super comfy.  I just custom ordered another one for me and one for Emma, too – I want it for her so she can stay warm while riding her bike this winter.  I tried a regular scarf but that really doesn’t work since you have to worry about the scarf tails getting caught in the bike spokes.  The neckwarmer will be perfect!

Update: Here’s the one Kristy made me, received today!  Excuse the blurry cell phone pic.  I love the pattern and the versatility, these are so easy to button exactly where you want it around your neck – not too tight.  :)

Am I the only one who has a problem finding cold weather footwear that actually stays on a baby’s feet, keeps his or her toes cozy and warm, and is easy to put on?  Leather shoes are usually too thin or leave a chilly gap between the hem of my son’s pants and the top of the shoe, and baby boots… well, I haven’t been able to find any that he and I like and that are comfortable.  I can’t tell you how hard it is to tug boots on a toddler’s feet when they don’t understand how to “help”, either.  It’s been a total pain this winter so far – we’ve hardly even been outside in the cold weather this year!

• Most importantly, they keep my little guy’s feet warm in rain or snow!

Final Thoughts: We love these booties.  They’re highly recommended.  I can’t imagine finding anything cozier if you’re in any kind of miserable weather – this will keep you from worrying about your child’s toes being cold anytime!

I’ve been a fan of Kidorable’s stylish rain gear for kids ever since Emma received her first set (raincoat, boots, and umbrella) from them when she was 2.  Their products are available in many fun themes that will have children excited for pretend play!  Since I was first introduced to them, there are several new themes including a ballerina, space hero, and kitty cat – but our absolute favorite is their Dragon Knight Collection!

I love that the boots have different pictures on each side, and that one toe features the dragon and the other the dragon’s flame.  These come in sizes infant 5 through young adult 2 and retail for $29.00.

Here’s my little guy:

We have one of the hangers, a pair of boots, and the rain coat, all for my son, and love them!  He is so cute in them, I could just eat him up!  Note that the sizing isn’t off at all – Isaac is 10 months now and that’s the 12-18 months size rain coat.  He has a little bit of growing to do before it fits correctly.  He’s also still a 4 in shoes and the boots are size 5.  I know from my past experiences with Kidorable that their boots are very well-made and hold up well over time – my daughter grew out of her shoes before they even looked worn out!

I’m loving the new Polyurethane material for their coats (with polyester lining) – it makes them much lighter and less bulky than the regular PVC.  And I think the silver metal embellishments on the coat are awesome!  If you want to buy one, the raincoats retail for $36.00.
