Is your little one a fan of Chuggington?  Then you’ll be thrilled to discover that you can own six great episodes on DVD now – Emma and I have been enjoying watching these adventures and can’t recommend them more!

Honk your horns for the new worldwide hit television series about eager young engines Wilson, Brewster and Koko as they learn to become working trains in the land of Chuggington. In these six popular episodes, the trainees find fun and excitement as they get lost in a deserted town, handle an important responsibility in the safari park, and discover that the repair shed isn’t such a scary place after all. There’s plenty of action and laughs along the way with lessons about overcoming fear, responsibility and problem solving, all while discovering social-readiness values like friendship, teamwork, courtesy and more. As the trains, and your own little chuggers, practice their skills and complete daily tasks, they learn to ride the rails of life!

My daughter and I haven’t been fans of the programs for children featuring trains in the past, but that was before we “met” Chuggington!  There’s just so much to love about this series for preschoolers, from the engaging characters (engines) to the brightly colored 3-D graphics.  There’s nothing slow or boring about this program – it kept my 3-year-old’s interest from beginning to end, and she asked me to replay the DVD after it had run through all of the episodes.  She’s singing the theme song, too – it’s so cute!  We’re thinking about buying some of the Chuggington toy trains now that we’ve seen this and become attached to the characters.

Chuggington Theme Song:

The lessons learned in each short episode are easily applied to a little one’s daily life.  For instance, in the first episode, “Braking Brewster”, Brewster learns about the importance of listening.  He couldn’t remember if he was supposed to go downhill slow or fast (with a full load) and finds himself in a scary situation that a friend is able to help him out of safely.  The rest of the episodes are the same with everyday skills and lessons that you want your little one to learn introduced in a fun and entertaining way.

If you’re new to Chuggington, I highly recommend checking it out!  There are six episodes on this disc, over 60 minutes of Chuggington fun, as well as bonus features including a Chuggington Memory Game, coloring and activity sheets, and sneak peeks.
