Crafts & Tutorials, Fun Stuff — By Lindsey on February 22, 2010 at 12:00 am

Hello all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I decided to go with a recipe today. This is a favorite from my childhood – something easy (you can use leftover chicken) and oh-so-tasty! I don’t know about you, but I’m all for EASY. And tasty. ;-) Thanks, mom, for making such yummy snacks and giving me a great quick dinner idea!
Easy Cheesy Chicken Salsa French Bread
Ingredients:
Leftover cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
Salsa
Grated Cheese
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2) Slice French bread loaf and spread salsa on both slices.
2) Top slices with cheese.
3) Top cheese with shredded/chopped cooked chicken.
4) Place slices on baking sheet and heat until cheese is melted and crust is a golden color (about 8-10 minutes).
(We ate ours so fast I forgot to take a photo – but here’s what it looks like, except with salsa)
Notes:
You can also place them under the broiler until cheese is melted. Just watch closely!
Feel free to add/replace ingredients!
