I have great plans for my nursery now that I’m teaching myself to sew. It’s exciting! I mean, have you seen all of the adorable fabric out there? I know that I could make exactly what I want for much cheaper than it would cost to buy a lower quality nursery set. Getting all the matching odds and ends is pricey. Here are some tutorials I intend to follow to make our nursery beautiful … enjoy! And let me know in a comment if any of them inspire you!
We can’t forget swaddlers! Swaddlers were lifesavers with my first baby and I have no doubt I’ll want them with my second, too. These are two types of swaddlers. The snuggler (left) includes a printable pattern at Craft and the DIY Swaddle Blanket (right) tutorial can be found at Prudent Baby.
Storage in the nursery is a necessity – wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such a cute storage system? Well, you can make it yourself with this tutorial found at U-Create!
Doodle has a wonderful tutorial on how to make a minky tag blankie. So making one!
I have more to share but don’t want this to get too long so I’ll put the rest of the tutorials in another post. :)
Till next time!
