Today Emma is six months old. Can you believe it?

Half a year already! It’s been quite a ride so far and I’ve loved every minute of it!

Okay well, maybe not every minute…

but in general I’ve loved it all. :-)

I, who didn’t think I was really a “baby person” (baby person = someone who gravitates naturally toward babies and children and has babies and children gravitate naturally toward them), absolutely LOVE being a mommy!

I’m sure some of you are saying, “Give it a few years…”

Well, loving Emma as a little person is part of why I love being her mommy.

I’ll weather the storm, I know.

We’ll make it through the teething, the terrible twos, the potty training… we’ll just start with that.

That’s enough, isn’t it? I’m not ready to think about teenage years. ;-)

Here are some pictures of Emma “helping”

  • wonderful pictures! happy 6 months Emma :)

  • Oh my gosh, that pouty crying face is so cute! But I do understand how it can be frustrating ;) Happy six months!

  • she is beautiful!! And 6 months is a really fun age! I notice you didn’t say anything about the age of 3! HA HA HA! 2 is a cake walk ( at least to me) compared to the 3’s

    Happy 6 months baby Emma!

  • What a gorgeous baby!!

I agree that the 3s are worse. But you get through them. My daughter is 8 now, and time just flies by. My sister had her first child a month ago, and the one piece of advice I had for her is to enjoy every moment because it goes by so fast.

  • Everyday is still a blessing…even on the rough ones. My boys are 13 and 7 and I still LOVE being a mommy. :-D

Thanks for sharing the pics. Took me back a few years. SIGH. But I really love where my boys are at now too. I am still trying to get over the fact that my 13 year old has larger feet than I do. I can flop around in his sandals now. Hee hee.
