We had the opportunity to visit a campground and have some fun with our church over the weekend. It was about an hour’s drive to this campground set in a beautiful woodsy area with a creek. It was a blast! I’m a country girl at heart so I really loved it – getting out of the city was awesome. We need to do that more often. :-)
So Emma met a pomeranian – actually two. She loves dogs! When she saw my mom’s rat terrier last, she spent the entire time holding his leash, crouching down to look him straight in the eye, and trying to grab his tail. These poms didn’t have visible tails for her (they were hidden in all that fur). Anyway, I have to share these photos because you can see the wheels turning in her head as she tries to figure out what she should be doing with these Pomeranians… grab the leash and take them for a walk or just give them a big bear hug?
“Helloooo, little pom! You want to come down here, you do!”
“I’m sure I can charm you down here…”
Those last three are my favorite photos from that day, lol.
Later, chillin’ with daddy. I can see she’s ready for her own little chair…
I think those last photos, from the drive home, have a lot of atmosphere – as imperfect as they are!
