Flowerz in Her Hair is pretty much the mother lode of hair accessories.  Whatever you’re looking for, I’ll be surprised if you don’t find it there!  This shop, mom-owned, is a great place to find:

  • Flower or Ribbon Bow Beanies
  • Clippies
  • Hair Clip Holders
  • Fabric Button Center Flowers
  • Headbands
  • Funky Flower Clips
  • Stick-on Bows for Infants
  • Halos and Veils (Special Occasion)
  • Bracelets
  • And (no kidding) 26 different types of bows!

Seriously, you have to check out the amazing selection of bows.  Amy, the mom behind flowerzinherhair.com, is a mastermind when it comes to creating these bows!  Holiday bows, infant stick-on bows, pinwheel bows, loopy bows, dotted bows, flower bows, korker bows, stacked bows, tulle bows, monogrammed bows, big layered bows, and that’s not all.  It’s a delight looking through her collection, let me tell you.  And she also lets you customize your own bows, too.  There’s a wonderful variety of ribbon colors and styles available, and you pick your own!

A Mom’s Thoughts:

Amy sent my daughter Emma one of her Satin Ribbon Beanies, a 5-inch Stretch Crochet Headband, and one of her beautiful Bows for review.  The beanie looks just like the one in the picture on the left here on this sweet little model, except ours is blue with a brown satin bow.  It is really beautiful.  I did, however, have trouble fitting it on Emma’s head – I think it’s too tight for her.  She’s always had a bit of a larger head when it comes to hats (it might be the shape of her head, not sure), but I was hoping we wouldn’t have trouble.  So pictures were pretty much out of the question.  It is really lovely, though – and my favorite of the beanie collection.  My only other disappointment was that the bow isn’t secured in any way in the perfect tied bow condition I received it in.  No sooner did Emma see the hat than that satin ribbon bow was untied.  And it’s not as easy as it looks making a bow perfect!  I wish I knew Amy’s techniques.  :)  I have considered that if the bow was secured with glue then moms wouldn’t be able to adjust the tightness of the hat, so I see why Amy doesn’t do that.

The Stacked Boutique Bow I received is very well-made and OH so cute!  I love that I’m able to customize completely when it comes to the clip.  I’m able to choose from snap clip, alligator clip, and French clip.

I prefer alligator clips for Emma so that’s what we went with.  I was also glad to see that she puts a non-slip strip inside, keeping the clip securely in Emma’s fine hair.  :)  It’s nice not to have to worry about losing such a nice bow!  If I did I think I’d be retracing my steps forever to find it again, and possibly going on the intercom if I was in a store and telling whichever mother picked it up to please return it to me immediately.  ;-)

After we saw that the hat wasn’t going to work for Emma, Amy kindly sent me one of her lovely Cute as a Button Flower clips and Nylon Super Stretch Headband to review as well.  I LOVE this fabric button-centered flower!  So pretty, and a perfect accessory for photo time. I loved accessories like this when Emma was a baby and didn’t have much hair!  They come in small, medium, and large flower sizes, and you can choose the flower color and fabric, completely customizing your clip!

Final Thoughts: As someone who is verrrry picky about the quality of hair clips I purchase, I’m not easy to please.  But I’m glad to tell you that I’m extremely happy with everything I received!  Everything is well-made, good quality, and she has a great selection to choose from.  I recommend checking out her store for sure!
