We are right now trying to sell our house so that we can buy a new house. We have a very nice townhome, but now that I have a little one, I want a fenced in yard for him to run around in (so I totally understand what you are saying about a yard). We have found several we like, but have to wait for our house to sell before we can pick a new house...so hopefully one of these days we will be out on the hunt as well! If only the perfect place would just appear. We live in town (in a twin/duplex, at that) and have a teeny yard, but thankfully we've a block from a wonderful, 10 acre park. I hope one day to live in the country, once we've paid off some of our mortgage. I grew up with a large yard that was fairly secluded and it was wonderful. I hope to be able to do that for my toddler one day.
