Not too long ago I came across this free printable that helps in home organization from amybayliss.com. It features spaces for menu planning, accomplishing daily tasks, a checklist for daily housecleaning, and a calendar for events and appointments. The best part? She offers an editable version so you can change colors and text!
This has been a lifesaver for me! For more years than I would care to admit I have put off doing certain tasks, sometimes because I genuinely forget (or more likely, was distracted by a child) or just kept putting it off because I didn’t like it. Though I do have tendencies to procrastinate, I also desire to have a well-kept home – and there’s nothing worse than knowing it’s an hour or 30 minutes until dinnertime and having no idea what you’re going to make!
Cool Tip: If you don’t want to print out a new sheet every week, you can buy a cheap frame from the Dollar Store and use dry erase markers to write in details and check off your tasks! You can do the same thing by putting in a plastic sheet protector for a binder or laminating it, too.
I just wanted to share this with you because it’s the one that works for me… and it’s made my life a lot easier being able to check things off as we go through the week. :)
