If you’re a mom (or dad), stains are well-known to you. You’ve probably felt frustration at the fact that a favorite dress or outfit of your child’s was stained and you just can’t get it out. I’ve certainly been there multiple times! Especially when you have a little one in diapers, you suffer through those varying-colored stains in the rear of his or her outfit. Gross!
I’ve used the OxiClean Baby Stain Remover Spray for about a year now with AWESOME results. I didn’t think there was anything better than that, though I have had a couple really tough stains not be completely removed by it (set-in poopy stains). Last week I challenged myself to try removing a set-in stain with OxiClean Stain Removal Powder and was so impressed with the result! Here’s what I did and how it turned out:
The instructions say to fill a container with 1 gallon of water and add a half-scoop to a full-scoop of powder. I added the full scoop.
I let it soak for 6 hours, then washed them.
I couldn’t believe there was no sign whatsoever of the poopy stain! That stuff seems to seep into fabric and never come out – but no more! I’m definitely going to be soaking my stained clothing items regularly – I’m sold on this method of getting stains out and making the clothes look like new!
Other Ways to Use OxiClean:
Besides using it to pre-treat tough stains, you can add to every load of laundry to boost the performance of your detergent, you can use it to remove stains in your carpet or furniture, and you can even use it on outdoor things like wood decks and tile around a pool! Thanks, OxiClean!
