My Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ (5/5)

I received My Story Bible to review through the Tyndale Book Blogger Network, and I’m very pleased with it! I’ve wanted to be sure that my daughter has a lot of different bible story books with pictures so that she’ll be able to learn all of the stories in the bible. The cheerful illustrations help children remember the stories, and the simple storytelling is easy for young children to follow.

My Story Bible contains 141 pages and 66 stories. I absolutely love the way it’s illustrated – there are pictures on every page and even miniature illustrations like mice, flowers, and birds dotted here and there throughout the book.

I really like the way the stories of the bible are shared – short and sweet. They are told simply and in language easy for a toddler to understand. As far as I can tell they do follow along with the bible. I haven’t read every story yet, so can’t promise that every story is 100% accurate, but what I have read so far is. One thing I do really like is that there is a scripture reference at the end of each story so that you can read the scripture that it is based on. Stories ranging from the creation of the world and Adam and Eve to the stories of Jesus’ time and even a story based on Revelation telling about heaven are included.

I think this is one of the best bible storybooks I have come across! The pictures and content are perfect for keeping a toddler or child’s interest, and it’s a delight to read out loud. I think every toddler should have one. :-)

Buy My Story Bible at for only $9.35. You can also see the first six or seven pages there!
