We’ve been making heart paper chains!

Emma likes it.  Just a little.  ;-)

I know this is pretty basic, but since I had to look it up (Ha!) I thought it was worth sharing the how-to.  :)

You’ll need:

Colored paper or construction paper
Scissors
Pencil

1.  Cut the paper into long thin strips.

2.  Fold the paper accordion style and cut off any excess.

3.  Draw a heart (or any shape), being sure to leave a place for the hearts to attach to each other when you cut it out.

4.  Cut the heart out!  If you leave a little curved point at the bottom it’ll look extra cute (see my pink hearts).  :)

We really enjoyed this quick and easy project.  These are an fun little addition to Valentine cards, too!
