If you’ve been mourning the fact that there aren’t enough faith-based children’s DVDs available, you’ll be thrilled to find out that the Paws & Tales radio drama is now an animated TV series that can be purchased on DVD!

About Paws & Tales:

Based on the Paws & Tales national broadcast radio program presented by Chuck Swindoll’s Insight for Living, the Paws & Tales videos communicate biblical truth and show kids how they can apply it to real life. Kids will be captivated by the adventure, caught up in the laughter, and carried away in the fun . . . and the whole time they’ll be on their way to understanding solid Bible theology.

This series is centered around two bear cubs, CJ and Stacie, and their “Paw Paw” Chuck along with their young friends.  There are two episodes on each DVD, each based on a scripture.  “A Race Against Time” is based on Matthew 22:39 (Love your neighbor as yourself.) and “The Hire Principle” is based on Philippians 2:3 (Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves…).

Our Thoughts:

This was our first time watching this series, though this is the fourth DVD in the series.  We really enjoyed meeting the characters and learning along with them how to put others first.  As a parent, I liked that the scriptures were brought out in each episode, scriptures I want my children to learn and remember.  I think that seeing them acted out and applied to our daily life is wonderful!  I’m definitely recommending this.  :)
