Sweet Valentine’s Day Tutorials {Creative Moms Blog Hop!}
Crafts & Tutorials, Fun Stuff — By Lindsey on February 1, 2010 at 1:00 amI have seen so many wonderfully inspiring Valentine’s crafts around the blogosphere, I just had to share!
Also, I’ve done nothing crafty lately. lol
Actually, I lied. Check out these crreeeeeative photos I took of myself on Friday!
Ha! Those photos were taken for an earring review/giveaway I have going this week.
Anyway. Back to creativity.
Seriously, I LOVE to craft (sew, crochet, scrapbook, etc), but I’ve been very uninspired. Possibly because there’s no room or time to do anything creative in my tiny apartment lately – my little one is really a handful, making messes left and right and demanding my attention every waking moment. But I’ll save that for another blog post. ;-) Not being able to craft myself doesn’t stop me from keeping track of projects I want to do and plan to do in the future!
Right. So let’s get to it!

Alicia at WoollyBums shares her ingeniously simple way of making a coupon holder and printed coupons for your loved one! She gave them to her hubby for Christmas, but they would make a great Valentine’s Day gift as well. :-)
♥♥♥
This Valentine Garland from Frills, Fluff, and Trucks is cute and requires basic sewing that anyone could do! It would be a great project to do with your kids. :-)
♥♥♥
I really love these Valentine Handprint Hearts from Roots and Wings Co! Such a great idea, and the perfect project for moms of toddlers!

Such great projects! I hope you were inspired – I know I am. :-)

I haven’t decorated for Valentine’s Day yet, but I have plans! I’ll share next week. :-)

Thanks for highlighting my felt puffy heart garland! :)
I’m not a great crafter either, but what inspiration you’ve given us here, wow. I especially like the first wooden thingy. I’m your newest follower and would love it if you’d come visit and follow my blog too. Thanks and have a great day!
