Our Take:
Don’t you love how Big Idea, Inc is recreating favorite stories with our favorite veggie heros? In this one, A Little Princess‘ Sara is a little girl who has much and is soon to find her life of luxury and comfort changing for the worst. There are so many great lessons in this story, from considering others above yourself to finding joy in every situation. I remember reading this book as a child and really being touched by the story, then again when I saw the movie – Sara’s story was a great choice I think. :) Although the story can be very sad, it’s not too sad at all – there is plenty of music and of course there are the usual laugh-out-loud moments. This one is very much worth adding to your VeggieTales collection!
