The Ultimate Blog Party 2009 ♥ Come Party With Me!

So I’m joining 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party 2009! Late, I know – but you know what they say, better late than never! Plus I’m feeling totally left out, LOL. So I’m jumping in with both feet and I’m excited about it!
Oh and did you see all those prizes? Oh my word! This must be the biggest event EVER!
A little bit about me:
I’m a WAHM, happily married, with a little girl just 10 months old who has made my world oh-so-joyful. :-) I’m a Christian, a blog-a-holic, I always have my nose in a book, and I’m constantly moving from one exciting craft to another! This is my personal blog in which I share my thoughts with like-minded moms (all mommies are kindred spirits!) on raising my first baby. I absolutely love doing product reviews for mommy/family/baby and share recipes, fabulous Etsy finds, and crafts as I come across them.
Oh, you want to know more? Get a lil’ deeper? Okay well, I love to cook and hate to clean, can be a bit impatient and have been known to throw mini tantrums when we run out of chocolate in the house (wow, that’s hard to admit), and am hopelessly addicted to coffee and the aforementioned chocolate. But not just any chocolate – dark chocolate. That sounds so good right now…
Did I mention that I get off on tangents when I’m blogging? Not too bad, but just enough to keep it interesting for you. ;-) I do that when I talk, too – something that frustrates me to no end! But my husband and my daughter love me (and my parents, but they don’t count, ha!), and that’s all that matters!
Wait. You want to see a picture of me, you say? Yeah I know, it’s nice to have a face behind the words…

And to answer your question… We ARE in fact doing a little sign language with our 10 month old (via Baby Einstein DVD) and she also can sign More and Eat. She doesn’t sign Milk to me, but when I sign it to her, she gets WAY excited to nurse!!! :) I’m hoping to continue the sign language as I think it’ll REALLY help her with the frustration as well!
