Honor in the Dust by Gilbert Morris

My Review/Thoughts:

Another wonderful story about the beloved Winslow family! Gilbert Morris is extremely popular with the Christian fiction community for being the author of the House of Winslow series (not sure how many hes written, but 25 for sure) as well as many other very well-written series and novels. Ive read many of them myself my favorites are the Cheney Duvall series (highly recommended).

So Honor in the Dust is part of a new series by Gilbert Morris, an offshoot of the House of Winslow series and what a great beginning! We are thrown into the Tudor period and learn much about the ways of life for those living in the court of King Henry VIII. Stuart Winslow is the main character, but we start out learning about his father, kind of setting the stage for Stuarts place in the world.

There was so much that kept me interested, including Stuarts struggle with his place in the kings extremely immoral court and his confusion about his own salvation. Theres much more to the book, but I dont want any spoilers in this review I can tell you that William Tyndale comes into the tale, and that this is a book Christians (and anyone who has struggled with a moral and personal dilemma) will be able to relate to definitely worth the read!

You can read the first chapter and find out about the author here!
