Creative Mamas Monday ♥ Crocheted Toddler Beanies With Visor

Ive been crocheting lately and having a blast with it! I was inspired by DolphinDoodles Etsy Shops adorable $10 hats and decided to search around for a free pattern online. The challenge was to find a pattern that would work into a nice-looking hat for my daughter. Im still working on that, actually. I like the pattern I found, but the hats Ive made so far have kind of a cone shape I think I can fix this by making the brim longer and the actually hat part shorter, though. We shall see. 😉 Ive only made two so far.
Here is the first one, made with a soft, thin yarn:
This is the second:
Boy, hats can be a challenge! lol The first one looked better as far as shape went. Gonna have to give it another go
So heres the link to the pattern:Cheri Hat by Jennifer Harrell.

This link takes you to Ravelry.com, where you have to sign up for a free account. Its totally worth it, though! There are so many wonderful patterns, both free and for sale. I definitely recommend signing up. 🙂

And if you have any trouble with the pattern, let me know! It took me a few tries to figure out what she was telling me to do in the pattern, but I finally figured it out. I think. 😉
So what about you? What crafty brilliance have you been up to lately? Do you have any creative plans for this week?

If you write up a post on it, leave a link in the comment so all the crafty mamas can come see! Or you can just share your crafty thoughts in a comment. 😉
