The Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition {Blu-Ray + DVD Diamond Edition Review}

The new Blu-Ray/DVD Diamond Edition of Lady and the Tramp is finally being released!

What Its About: A classic love story unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tonys restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Ladys loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramps devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Ladys love and the affection of her human family.

Our Review:

This favorite from my childhood looks spectacular on blu-ray! I hadnt seen it since my early teens, so it was a delight to watch again. And Emma was totally engrossed in the plot, to the point that she was slapping her palm to her cheek and gasping when Tramp fought those mean dogs who were after Lady, narrowing her eyes at the silly Siamese cats who made a mess and then blamed the innocent Lady, and smiling at the heartwarming scenes. I loved watching her!
